This trip is ideal for the first time backpacker or someone that wants their child to respectfully experience the wilderness, explore independence, and be part of a community that encompasses courage, kindness, and camaraderie.  Campers will hike approximately 2.5 miles into base camp where they will sleep each night.  The itinerary includes plenty of hiking on and off trail, light compass use, solo time, group games and activities, supervised lake swimming, and self care.  We enjoy our time in the Tahoe National Forest near Nevada City and Truckee California.  Space is limited. Some gear required.

This trip is ideal for those with previous outdoor experience, former ESCAPE 1.0 participants, and physically fit newcomers in the high school age range. Excursions will include longer hikes, peak ascents, and cross country challenges in the Tahoe National Forest.

This trip is the adult version of ESCAPE 1.0 and perfect for the beginner or someone that wants to have a chill experience in the backcountry.  Food is catered by staff.  We will offer some adult luxuries such as guided meditation and yoga in addition to guided hiking, lake swimming and solo time.
